Very Heavy and Solid Worth the price. Had to decide between matching Schlage in other part of house and Baldwin in new addition. Went with Baldwin on builders recommendation and happy I did it. They feel so much heavier and more solid than the Schlage (and Emtek we had in a prior house). If you have the money do it. Will change every door knob in the house now. Does this knob come in a privacy type lock?

A. The Baldwin 5425.PASS is the passage version of the knob. The Baldwin 5425.PRIV is the privacy version of the same knob.

I am looking for a model that does not lock but does secure the door when closed and that you have to turn in order to open the door and it turns on both sides of the door. Does this do that?
