The BioAxxis(R) PCL-1M can be installed indoors or outdoors, in any weather condition or temperature. It comes standard with a high-quality European-style (EU) deadbolt mortise; and its free-wheeling clutch design helps maintain the performance and durability of the lock. Included with each lock are 2 high-security back-up "dimple" keys that enhance your security further. This unique key/cylinder design eliminates concerns with bumping or copying because of its unique pin-free mechanics. Very modern. Very safe.

Note: Installers, please be sure to compare dimensions if you are replacing an existing US-mortise, as the measurements are different. Also, EU-mortise design has the 2-dead latches on top and deadbolt on the bottom. This is a very solid light-duty mortise that will work great when installed properly.
