Product Details for the Kwikset 660
The Single cylinder deadbolt 660 provides tough, effective protection at an affordable price. It is equipped with a full 1" throwbolt. This model locks and unlocks with a key from the outside and a thumbturn on the inside.

"We moved into new office space and needed to install locks on the private office doors. The lock smith wanted to charge us $85 per door to install the locks and have them keyed for a master key. We purchased these, had them keyed for master and saved over $1,200!! They work great and are super easy to install."

The hole through my door is 1-7/8" inches in diameter, not 2-1/8". Will this deadbolt fit?
A. This deadbolt works for doors with a cross bore of 2-1/8". This would not work with your cross bore size. There are some deadbolts (ex: Kwikset 980S-S) that can be configured to work with a 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" Cross Bore. We do not have any deadbolts on this site with 1-7/8" Cross Bore. You could maybe try using one with a slightly smaller cross bore, like the Kwikset 980S-S. But, I believe the deadbolt would not be stable and may not function properly. This Cross Bore measurement is very rare and you may want to consider purchasing a cross bore jig to size your cross bore to the common sizes of 1-1/2" or 2-1/8".

Is there a double cylinder option?
A. The double cylinder version of the Kwikset 660 is the Kwikset 665.

I have a door that has a backset of more than 2 3/4 inches. Do you have one that fits that or is adjustable?
A. The back set is the measurement from the center of the bore hole to the edge of the door. The two common sizes are 2 3/8" or 2 3/4". This Kwikset 660 comes standard with a latch that is adjustable to those two sizes. If a different size is needed, there are different latches available for order. There are a number of different latches by size, brand and ones that are only compatible with certain series/collections. These specialty latches have to be ordered separately.
