"I replaced an existing dummy knob which used three screws. This unit uses two screws, so I drilled a couple of pilot holes, screwed on the base, snapped on the decorative cover, and snugged on the handle. Took just a couple of minutes and looks great."

Is the right hand /left hand selection determined by the installation location on the door ...i/e. left side of the door installation requires left hand door knob?
A. To determine handing place yourself on the exterior side of the door and face it and note the hinge placement. If the hinges are the left, door handing is left, if the hinges are on the right your door handing is right.

What is grade 2 security?
A. Locks are rated by the grade of the lock cylinder. Grade 2 is the standard residential grade. Grade 1 locks will provide more security, and are recommended for commercial applications.
