This sturdy double cylinder deadbolt, equipped with SmartKey technology, is the perfect choice to keep your home or business safe. Bumpguard: Patented side locking bar technology replaces a traditions pin & tumbler design to protect against lock bumping. Key it Yourself: Lock is rekeyable by using the included learn tool in less than 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door. Drill Resistance: Cylinder uses two steel balls inserted into the front of the key face to resist attack from drilling. Superior security - ANSI Grade-1 deadbolt ratingSmart Key Cylinders are 5-pin, and will not key alike to 6-pin cylinders.

Hard to Install

"I order Kwikset locks for the entire house, but this double cylinder deadbolt was hard to install. The single was simple, but the double has long black screws that go in first and then screws on top of the black screws. The instructions also don't tell you have to take off the face place on the interior lock to get the black screws to attach. I ended up installing the lock upside down on the interior side because that was the only way I could get the key to release. It was frustrating, but it seems like a sold lock. Maybe I'll fix it when I'm less annoyed some other day."

"I bought this to replace a single cylinder kwikset lock that came with a handleset for the front door (lock and handle). I wanted to keep the same outside look so I did not have to repaint or do any drilling or fitting. This was perfect; I switched the guts and indoor portions of the lock and the outdoor finish is unchanged. Beautiful. As far as performance of the lock- the mechanism is smooth and the interior look is clean without any ugly protruding screws. Installation straightforward."

"This product works well. The only glitch I found was during installation that the instructions are a little off. I believe it is for a different model as it referenced some parts that did not exist. I downloaded the correct instructions from the web and then it all worked out after that. I will certainly recommend this product."
