The Avalon has a slight touch of the coast, aesthetically coexisting with any color scheme or decor. Grade 1 deadbolt security features. The latchbolt is operated by thumbpiece outside and grip inside, while the deadbolt is operated with a key on the outside and thumbturn inside.
  • ANSI/BHMA A156.5 Grade 1 Deadbolt
  • Titanium alloy throwbolt core
  • Concealed Interior and Exterior Screws
  • Solid Forged Brass

    "We received our locks quickly, and everything was included, even detailed install instructions. We plan to purchase more from this company. A suggestion to consumers... go to a local hardware store to make sure you touch and feel the lock you want, we discovered that each make and model has a different "quality" grade to it. So we up-graded,and very glad we did. But the savings we got from Handlesets.com, was incredible. I have reccommended to all my friends."

    Does this come with the interior door knob and deadbolt?

    A. The interior pack to this item is sold in addition to this and can be seen by adding the the item to the cart. The next page contains the different options for the interior pack.

    What is the distance between the center of the latch hole (not the deadbolt hole) and the hole for the mounting screw near the bottom of the handle. I also would like this same measurement for the Hawthorne handleset. Just to clarify, this measurement shows up on the spec sheet for the Arlington handleset as dimension C and is 11 inches. Thank you for your assistance.

    A. The Kwikset 800AVH-LIP-S Avalon & the Hawthorne have the same measurement of 8-13/32" from the center of the bottom screw to the center of the latch bore hole.
