The SmartKey Reset Cradle is a tool used by trained professionals to repair a SmartKey cylinder that has been programmed incorrectly. An incorrectly programmed cylinder will not turn in either direction. Simply remove the lock from the door, remove the SmartKey cylinder plug, insert it into the reset cradle, and the cradle will reset the cylinder to learn a new key. The Reset Cradle is a must have for landlords or locations where there is a high possibility of lost keys.
