With the LockState remote control deadbolt, you can protect your home or business while providing selected access to your guests, contractors, housekeepers, nannies or employees with temporary user codes. Unlocks with a hand-held IR remote control, lighted digital keypad, or a regular key. Has an automatic locking feature that locks the deadbolt about 20 seconds after you unlock it. "This was a tough decision for me to make to determine what features were truly useful. This proved to be easy and practical. Very convenient. Instructions need to be read a number of times to configure. Be patient. It is easy once you get it.

I would buy this again for my other doors."

"I researched programmable locks for over a year waiting for the one that had everything I wanted in a programmable deadbolt and these are the locks I selected. They have been great and the company that sells the locks (handlesets.com) and produces the locks (Lockstate) have been wonderful to work with. Lockstate provided excellent support after the purchase>"

Can the mechanical key be changed so that it works with our current SCHLAGE locksets?

A. Yes. When adding the product to your cart, select "Keyed Alike" under the Free Keying Option. In the Key Code box, please include the 5-digit key code for your existing Schlage locksets.
