"I recently replaced all of my Schlage handlesets in my entire home (new owner of an existing home) and I had no trouble at all. I did find that I should have paid better attention to the rounded corner vs. square corner plate options for the door strikes, but other than that the locks have all be great."

I currently have a B360N-style double-cylinder deadbolt. If I purchasze a single-cylinder, will I be able to "rekey" by installing one of the cylinders from the old deadbolt into the new one?

A. To re-key any new locks to work with your existing key, you will need to take your key to a local locksmith and have them provide you with a 'key code'. On our site, when adding the product to your shopping cart, you will find an optional box to enter this code so we can match the lock to your key.

which color is closest to stainles steel?

A. Thank you for your question. Of the available finishes for the B360N, Satin Chrome would be closest to Stainless Steel. However, the B360N is being replaced by the B60, which is available in Satin Nickel and Antique Pewter, which would both be comparable finishes.

I am replacing a deadbolt in a door with a main bore hole of 1 1/2" - do you have deadbolts with a cross bore or main bore hore of 1 1/2"? The deadbolt I am replacing is a Schlage.

A. The B60 will work with either a 1.5" or the standard 2.125" bore hole.
