One-Sided DeadboltThe deadbolt is thrown or retracted by a turn unit only with no outside trim. The bolt automatically deadlocks when it is fully thrown. - Door Prep: 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" Face hole with 7/8" latch hole
- Deadbolt: 1" throw
- Cylinder: 5-pin solid brass
- Automatic adjustment to door thickness of 1-3/8" to 1-3/4"
- 10-094 strike plate included

"This lock functions perfectly. I wanted something that was not visible from the outside and would be a good back up dead bolt. This one is actually better and sets deeper in to the door frame than our original dead bolt. I'm very pleased. It wasn't too bad to install either, just need the right tools."

"I just purchased a home recently with a patio door that was missing a deadbolt. This item (with the Antique Brass finish) fit the bill perfectly, especially after the local Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have this kind of one-sided deadbolt at all, not to mention the clueless salespeople there didn't even know that patio deadbolts existed.
As a bonus, the set comes with multiple face plate options (I didn't even notice that in the description at first). I'm happy to have a deadbolt on my patio door."

"At first I was a little apprehensive about drilling the hole for the thumb turn--fearing that I would drill all the way through the door instead of only about 3/4 of the way into the door. It turned out not to be a problem and the deadbolt went it beautifully."

"This particular deadbolt was not avaible in our local stores so was extreemly pleased to find it online. It was exactly what I needed, perfect color and style and it arrived faster than I could possibly have expected. The bad news is that parts were missing from the box and I had to purchase another whole deadbolt set (different style, but same internal parts) from my local store in order to be able to have it installed. I am sure that I could have contacted customer service and they would probably have been very cooperative and gratious and sent the necessary parts, but at that point I already had a carpenter here to install it and just needed to get it done while I had someone here to do it. I would definitely purchase from this company in the futue in spite of the problem that I encountered."
