Double cylinder deadbolt. Deadbolt thrown or retracted by key from either side. Bolt deadlocks when fully thrown.

  • Triple Option™ latches and universal backsets for effortless installation
  • Lifetime Limited Finish and Mechanical Warranties on all deadbolts
  • 3" screws and steel door frame reinforcers; provides maximum protection against violent forced-entry attacks
  • Concealed screws
  • Solid one-piece deadbolt design with 1" deadbolt and hardened steel core; resists sawing and protects against hammer and crowbar attacks
  • Durable deadbolt design with hidden spin ring; provides maximum security against hammer and wrench attacks
  • Pick-resistant cylinders with nickel-silver pins; protects against picking and tampering and provides maximum durability
  • Caution: Double cylinder locks on residences and any door in any structure that is used for egress are a life safety hazard in times of emergency and their use is not recommended. Installation should be in accordance with existing codes only.

"I love the style and the finish and the mechanism works great. The double cylinder will not fit a door thickness less than 1 3/4 though the website lists it as 1 3/8 to 1 3/4. Schlage says the single cylinder will fit but Handlesets.com would not pay return shipping on an exchange so I found a solution at a local locksmith. They had some spacer rings that worked but cost $35.00 for the pair. Check your door thickness before ordering!!! Handlesets.com has not corrected there web site either."
