Beautiful door handles

"We needed more door handles for doors in our old house to match the ones we had installed on a very large addition to our home. We could not find the right product in any of our local hardware stores. Handlesets.com had just what we needed at a GREAT PRICE. We wondered if the hardware would look as good on the old wood doors as on the new doors. The old doors looked beautiful! These classic-looking handles make an old door look new again. The oil rubbed bronze is a nice deep brown that will compliment any door style/finish. The finish is matte and blends well with the classic decor in my home. "I already had the leverset on some door, and wanted to have all the same throughout the house. So I bought a whole lot and found the price and availability to be better than at the home depot and/or Lowe's. They arrive timely and were installed in no time.
I like the look of the levers (I got brushed nickel to replace our old round brass ones), the only thing I don't like is that you have to press the lever all the way down to open the door. This seems to be a common American lever thing, in Europe you only need to push the lever about 1 inch down to completely open the lock. It's also great that you can easily reverse the handles."

please describe what you consider a left handed versus right handed
A. The "handing" on the door is determined by the placement of the hinges. If you face the door from the outside/exterior, the handing is determined by which side the hinges are on. If the hinges are on the right, you have a right handed door.

I need a satin nickel/polished chrome lever handle with the locking button on the chrome side. right-handed door. can this be ordered specifically? It does not seem that 'reversible' is accurate.

How do you unlock the door from the outside if you accidentally lock and close the door?
A. The Schlage F40-ACC can be unlocked from the outside with an emergency key that is supplied with the item. The emergency key is placed in a hole located in the center of the lever.
