A. The Schlage F51-LAT is able to be used for the main door to your home, but I would also recommend a deadbolt.

i want a push-button lock without key for a bedroom and a bathroom - does the F51-Lat have to have a key?

A. The Schlage F51-LAT is a keyed entry version, but Schlage makes a privacy version that does not use a key, the F40-LAT.
