"We put this on our front door and it looks great. The shape of it coincides with the design in the glass of our front door. You need the key to lock it when leaving the house."

how to determine Left or Right hand type lock. We have two front doors, one for lock, the other for "dummy". Looking at the outside, the lockable door is on our left, the dummy is on the right.
