"This smart key lock set will not work with your old Weiser keys. You will need to re-key all of your old lock sets to the the new smart key. If your old key code has number higher than 6, you can not get a smart key made to fit your old key number which again makes you re-key your old locks. The smart key will fit in the old locks. When installing be very careful when installing the inside door knob or the locking mechanism will push out the rear and you will need to get another knob. Inside locking stem made of plastic. Handlesets.com are great people to work with. They sent me a replacement knob out the same day. Weiser was going to take six weeks for warranty. Weiser Lock customer service is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have bought lock sets from them for 30 years but never again."
