Good lock, great company
Took a couple of tries because the key stuck, but the unit finally received is perfect-works inside and out, looks great. Handlesets.com is one of the best online companies I ever purchased from-EXCELLENT customer service! As reputable a company as you'll find. And you won't find better prices anywhere else- I tried before ordering.

Finish
Replacing a nearly 20 year old keyed entry handleset, the installation went quite well. However, the finish, a heavily lacquered, glossy appearance lacks the patina of the original. I believe that less expensive metal has been covered with painted on finish, as opposed to being a true metallic finish.
Notwithstanding the appearance, the old handleset was still working after twenty years. I am hopeful that his handleset will outlast me.

Loved it
Product arrvied in 3 days of Order. That was nice !!
Product fits very well to the 20 year old lockset which was replaced. took 15 mintues to do the job. The color of the handle set is little different though, it is more polished than from the picture.

I was almost ready to replace the entire door. My efforts to locate the handleset at Loewes and Home Depot were disappointing. Needless to say, I was elated to find it on HandleSets.com. Many thanks for carrying Weslock 1414; it saved me a bundle!

Weslock antique brass keyed handle set
I rate the product okay , There should have included a template for the hole spacing. It took me three times as long to install. I had to do allot of measuring to make sure all the hole where in the correct locations.Other lock companies give you a template to use.Also for the amount you pay, the key way or lot mechanism should have been made of solid brass and not Dicast. It would have been nice if the seller would also hace the service of keying it to match an existing key. I was told that I needed to give them a code. My locksmith stated there is no such thing as a code . He just changes the tumblers to match my key. I did like the all in one dead bolt feature of the handle. I already had a seperate dead bolt. So now I have to and twice the protection of two deadbolts . Over all I rate the item good.

Outstanding!
Almost an exact match to the original handleset when the house was built 20 years ago. It actually looks better than the original. The existing holes matched up perfectly and the installation was shorther than the time spent removing the old one. The shippiing time was super fast! Very impressed with the workmanship of the handleset and the service.

Exactly what we needed!
It was time to change the lockset on our home due to age but we were told we'd never find the same one. Sure enough Handlesets.com not only had the set we needed but the service we received was excellent. Why look anywhere else?

Nice lock set
I purchased this item to replace an original hand set that the former owner had ruined by painting over. It worked out very well in that it matched the existing decor and style of the building, was a near perfect match of the original lock set and was easy to install. I made a very good choice, and it cost me much less than what I would have paid for a similar quality item from any other home improvement center,

Very good value!
We were replacing the locks in our front door and the builder had used this model originally; they were 22 years old and had worn over the years. The new version is much nicer than the original, and compared to those available at the "big box" stores of a much higher quality and a very reasonable price.
