"The handle set looks great but once it is installed you quickly notice the the mechanics of it are kind of cheap. I've had to already change out the lock set and tali piece to the lock."

What guarantee comes with this lock?

A. Weslock has a limited lifetime warranty mechanical warranty on their items. There is a 1 year finish warranty unless the finish is a PVD lifetime finish.

We are buying hardware for double entry doors. We would like the right door (from the inside) to be the articulating door. Is this considered the right hand door?

A. No, handing is always determined from the EXTERIOR side. From the exterior face the door and note what side the hinges are on (in this case it's the left, so you have a left handed active door).

Are Weslock lock mechanisms compatible with schlage systems? For instance if I paired a Weslock entry set with a Schlage-Camelot electronic deadbolt could they be keyed identically?

A. Most Weslock lock mechanisms can be special ordered with Schlage keyways so that they can be keyed alike to Schlage products. Just give us a call to place the order and specify that you need it to be able to be keyed the same as a Schlage keyway.
