Function:

  • Privacy Lock: Latch bolt operated by handles. Outside handle is locked by push button on inside handle. Rotating inside handle or closing door releases push button and frees outside handle. Inside handle is always free. Emergency release in outside handle unlocks door. (ANSI 76)
