Beautifully simple, the Commonwealth’s clean, curved lines combine elegance with versatility. This single cylinder lever locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a turn button on the inside.

  • Includes Standard Round Corner Strike Plate Part Number 83796 (Strike Plate is on Door Jamb). For Square Corner Strike Plate See Product: Kwikset 83437. For a T-Strike Plate See: Kwikset 83028.

"I am totally surprised at the great customer service I received. I ordered the door handle I needed and it came within 10 days. There was a defect and Handlesets graciously refunded my money. I ordered another and again it came promptly, this time without defects.

"Very good product. Bought based on friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. Nice look and good fit/finish. Good quality, easily installed, easily rekeyed to match my other doors (requires original key), and looks great. Live in CA so want to see if holds up to heat and exterior weather as it says it has life time warranty."

Is there a left-handed and right-handed option with this lever?

A. Kwikset has made these "field reversible," meaning they include instructions on how to reverse the handing depending on your installation needs.

Will Lifetime Polished Brass for "exterior" exposure tarnish in time?

A. In general Kwikset recommends "lifetime" finishes for exterior use as they do tend to last longer. Kwikset warrants their lifetime finishes for the life of the product.
