"The lock works very nicely but it is not electronic in the way you think. I thought it locked by itself but it is manual after you enter the code. Also there are issues with resetting the code. there should be better explanations of how it works on the website."

"Purchased three of these to replace existing Weiser locks. Bought with the intent of being able to give different codes to different people (House Cleaner, Pet Sitter, etc.) and be able to change without having to re-key. Installed very quickly (less than 15 min, each) and easily. Also paid to have them keyed the same. Only disappointment was that Handlesets only provided two keys."

Hello - I was just reviewing the CD with the instruction video that came with my lock but I cannot find instructions on how to RESET the 4 digit access code. I do have the key to override the keypad - but I will be dipped if I can figure out a way to reset this bad boy - can anyone help me CHANGE my access code? THANK YOU!

Our custom door is 1 15/16" thick. Can the BE365-CAM operate on this thickness?
A. The BE365-CAm only works for doors that are between 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thick.

What what does "key alike" and "key different" mean?
A. The key alike option is so that you can order a number of different handles with locks and have then keyed alike so the same key can be used with them. Key different is the opposite you would get 2 locks and use 2 different keys to open them. Most people get the key alike when ordering more then one lock.

If I already have a Schlage deadbolt installed, what else will I have to do to the door to install this electronic lock?
A. This will fit the same standard bore hole size a 2 1/8" diameter. The old dead bolt will need to be removed, then the electronic dead bolt will be able to be installed in its place. It does not have any additional installation requirements.
