"It was a difficult decision to go with knobs, but levers were out of the budget. They are nice though, and are not uncomfortable to use. The Antique Pewter is a nice color. Not so trendy like brushed nickel, but also not old fashioned like brass or dark like bronze."

"The Schlage Georgian design is attractive and available in a number of finishes. This allowed me to use the lifetime shiny brass in one area, the antique brass in another and the aged bronze in a third and still have a consistent look throughout the house."

Can the passage doorknob Schlage F10-GEO be used on exterior doors?

A. A Passage Door knob Set is generally used on closets and hallway doors like the laundry room. This door knob set has no locking capabilities. The knob turns to activate the latch but is not suggested for doors that lead to the outside of the home due to lack of security it offers.

Are these knob sets right for bedroom and closet and bathroom doors?

A. The F10-GEO is more suited for a closet or a bedroom that you do not want to lock because it is a passage knob. The privacy version, F40-GEO, has a privacy lock that is better for a bathroom or a bedroom you want to have a lock on. There is access hole on the out side that allows you to unlock the door by using a pin.
