Looks great and convenient This lock is convenient in that I can come and go without a key. That said, it is not a deadbolt, so I will need to have one installed and be back to using a key when I'm away for extended periods. January 15, 2010

Great door lock/lever Really like the usefulness of no key entry-- I combined these with the keyless deadbolt and its a great combo that looks excellent-- I will note that to combine both you have to drill a new hole for the deadbolt due to the height of the keypad (on regular key locks the standard clearance if fine)-- I use both the auto lock and adjustable lock type and both are good for their purpose (i.e. when the kids go out the garage side door it ALWAYS locks, but off the patio when I'm grilling its nice to tun it off when I've got steaks in my hands) September 17, 2008

do you have any for mobile homes only ???

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC can work for your mobile home door if you know the backset and if the door thickness is large enough to support this product.

How much distance needs to be between the two hole in the existing door, for the key pad not to cover any of the deadbolt hole?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC is meant to install on any 2-1/8 bore. Standard distance between the centers of the bore is 5-1/2 inches.

What distance do you need between the hole centers on a FE575-cam-acc and BE365?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC and BE365 would best fit 5.5" centers on the bore holes of the door.

can I change passwords when ever I want or does it stay with the factory preset codes two of them from what I read?

You are able to change the passwords on the Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC easily. Page 5 of the Installation Guide shows how to change, delete and add new passwords.

how do you reset the lock?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC is reset to factory settings by disconnecting the battery, pressing Schlage, reconnecting the battery, and holding down the Schlage button.

Can the door be programmed not to lock until you ask it to lock or does it always auto lock?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC can either be set up to auto lock behind you after 5 seconds or that function can be turned off but unfortunately there is no way to select the amount of time that it will take before it closes.

could l use the Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC in my double front door? or do l need a special door handle

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC will work fine on a double front door.

Is this fixture designed for outside doors?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC is more for interior doors rather than main entryways. It's ideal for storage rooms, basement doors, supply closest and garage entry doors.

My backset dimension is 2-1/2 "... It says this is adjustable, but it says 2-3/8" OR 2-3/4", not 2-3/8" TO 2-3/4"... so, can I set this at 2-1/2"??... or does it only have 2 settings?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC is, unfortunately, only going to be able to be adjusted to 2 3/4" or 2 3/8" backset. Schlage products are not able to be adjusted to 2 1/2" backset.

Is it possible to replace the levers on this model with the flair levers in the same finish?

The Schlage FE575-CAM-ACC has a version with the Flair levers. It is model FE575-PLY-FLA.
